​●年末年始休暇　　　12/27土～1/3土

　お世話になっております。大地住建の小川です。　今年も年の瀬、皆様忙しい日々をお過ごしのことと思います。体調に気を付けてお過ごしください。私は11月に早々とインフルエンザA型に罹患。年齢のせいからか、昔のように病気が抜けた後の「からっと青空！」みたいな快調感が訪れず、だらだらと咳が続き、時節柄、「伝染すなよ」と言われてるような冷たい視線（笑）も気になり、辛いものです。。。すっきりと回復したいものですね～

　今年は高市早苗さんが日本憲政史上初の女性総理に就任した、歴史的な年になりました。そして非業に倒れた安倍さんの後継者を自認し、外交面でも華々しいデビューを飾りました。あの米国のトランプ氏や、中国の習近平氏等の各国の猛獣達と今後、どのように渡り合っていくのか、期待しております。是非頑張って下さい！　そして近いうちに来る皇位継承でも女性が後継になっていくのか、そんな話も出てきそうですね。女性が社会の各場面で活躍出来る場が増えてきているようで、いいことだと思っております。　そして今年はAI「ChatGPT」の普及が進んだ1年にもなったのではないでしょうか。若い子なんて恋愛相談をしたりするっていうから使いこなしていますよね～。自分も今年はデビューして使い始めております。まず自分のつまらない質問にもきっちりとリアクションをしてくれる、さわやかでダンディな声で話しかけてくる彼は何者なのか？　この間、ちょっと意地悪で、「お兄さんじゃない人に変わってくれない？それとか声のテンション上げたりして対応出来るの？」とか言ったら、「出来ますよ。私にとってもチャレンジなので楽しみです！」なんて返されてしまって。。。なんて素晴らしい人格者なんだ！と自分が恥ずかしく思えてしまいました。　もっとうまく使っていきたいものですね！

　皆様は「大阪万博」行かれましたか？　自分は残念ながら行かなかったのですが、いろいろ話題になりましたね。　世界中から日本を訪ねてくれるきっかけの一つになったことは間違いなく、またいろいろな問題が生じていることも聞いてはおりますが、総括として、一先ずは成功だったのではないでしょうか。インドネシア館でしたか、「ヨヤク、ナシデ、スグ、ハイレル！・・・」とある種自虐的な呼び込みであれだけ話題になったりと、昨今何が注目されるのか、わからず面白いものでした！　そして民泊も話題になりました。うちでも民泊、チャレンジしてみようかな。「ChatGPT」に質問して教えてもらうか！？なんてね。(>_<)（笑）

I hope this message finds you well. This is Ogawa from Daichi Juken. As we approach the end of the year, I imagine everyone is going through a very busy season. Please take good care of your health. I myself came down with influenza type A early in November. Perhaps it’s my age, but unlike in the past, I didn’t get that refreshing “clear blue sky!” feeling after recovering. Instead, a lingering cough dragged on, and given the season, I couldn’t help but feel people’s cold stares—as if they were saying, “Don’t infect me!” It’s been tough… I really hope to recover cleanly and completely soon.

This year was a historic one, with Sanae Takaichi becoming Japan’s first female Prime Minister in constitutional history. She has positioned herself as the successor to the late Mr. Abe and made a remarkable debut on the diplomatic stage. I’m eager to see how she will engage with the “big beasts” of the world—such as Mr. Trump of the United States and Mr. Xi Jinping of China. I sincerely wish her the best of luck. And with the imperial succession expected in the near future, there may even be discussions about a female successor. It seems that opportunities for women to play active roles in various areas of society are increasing, which I think is a wonderful trend.

This year also marked significant progress in the spread of AI tools like ChatGPT. I hear that young people even use it for relationship advice—they really know how to make the most of it. I myself made my debut this year and started using it. I wondered, “Who is this guy who responds so properly even to my trivial questions, speaking to me in such a refreshing and suave voice?” The other day, I teasingly asked, “Can you switch to someone other than the ‘big brother’ voice? Or maybe raise the energy level of your voice?” And it replied, “Of course. It will be a challenge for me as well, so I’m looking forward to it!” I was taken aback—what an admirable personality! It made me feel embarrassed about myself. I hope to learn to use it even better.

By the way, did any of you visit the Osaka Expo? Unfortunately, I didn’t go, but it certainly became a big topic. There’s no doubt it served as one of the reasons people from all over the world visited Japan. I’ve heard there were various issues as well, but overall, I think it can be considered a success. Was it the Indonesia Pavilion? Their somewhat self-deprecating call—“No reservation, you can enter right away!”—became such a sensation. These days, you never know what will capture people’s attention, and it’s quite amusing. And private lodging (minpaku) also became a hot topic. I’m even thinking of trying it myself. Maybe I should ask ChatGPT how to get started! (Just kidding.) (>_<)
